How do I ensure that you are qualified and a registered Hypnotherapists?

Please check the CNHC or NCP websites with my name or in the case of other Hypnotherapists check the relevant website in question. Hypnotherapists should always be fully qualified and registered in the Hypnotherapy Directory that is relevant for that individual.

Do I need my GP’s approval?

Any health conditions, medication etc., needs written clarification from your GP before I can proceed with therapy.

How often do I need to go?

This is dependent on the underlying cause or condition and progress. You will be monitored at all times, and will be updated as your therapy progresses.

What does it cost?

This will vary according to the Hypnotherapist, but at the fees are:-

£48 per session (a session is approximately one hour).

Quit Smoking:

£110 for a two hour session – think about how much you are saving compared with the annual cost of smoking and the health issues that surround it.

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind and body. It is a state of relaxation, and whilst a person is in this relaxed state, the sub-conscious can accept suggestions and ideas for personal improvement, or explore to find the causes of the problem. The person must be a willing participant to bring about a positive conclusion. Hypnosis deals with the root of the problem using relaxation techniques to change ingrained negative thoughts to positive ones. Hypnosis is a very valuable tool and when used well can allow us to produce beneficial changes. It is a natural state of mind and body without any harmful side effects and it is estimated that approximately 85% of people of all age groups will readily respond to clinical hypnotherapy. It is often successful when other, more conventional methods of treatment have failed.
